Frequently asked questions

Do I need to give my name or contact details to see quotes?

No. The quote form collects only gender, birth date, self-assessed health level, tobacco status, desired benefit amount and policy duration—six data points sent directly to carriers for rate calculation. Your full name, address and medical history stay private until you decide to apply.

Are the monthly prices shown the price I will pay?

These are the rates carriers quote for the underwriting class you indicated. Carriers will finalize the actual premium and class after underwriting, which may result in a better, worse, or unchanged assessment. All rates shown are estimates only and do not constitute an insurance offer or binding guarantee.

What happens when I click Apply?

Once you select Apply, you provide your name and the form auto-fills with your previous answers. The application then moves to the carriers' protected platform where you complete remaining details, can pause and return later, and sign your name electronically. Susman Insurance Agency (License 0B75129) manages the process.

Will I need a medical exam?

That varies by carrier and your specific answers. Carriers offering immediate underwriting can approve eligible applicants without examination; each quote shows whether an exam is mandatory, possible, or unnecessary for that product.

Is a longer term better?

The right term covers your income-earning years when dependents rely on you—typically spanning a mortgage, while children are growing, or while you have business obligations. Longer durations mean higher monthly payments but locked-in rates. Use the calculator to compare 10, 15, 20, 25 and 30 year options side-by-side.

Does this site sell my information?

Correct. The quote engine doesn't ask for contact information, we have no data-sharing arrangements with third parties, and we use no cookies or tracking. Review the privacy section for the complete accounting of what information flows where.
